i am thrilled and excited to announce some big changes happening for 2009. my first official year was exciting, somewhat overwhelming, beautiful, and so much more than i could have imagined. a big, GIANT thank you to all of my clients for entrusting me with your precious images. it has been more than my pleasure to be apart of your lives in some way.

i am taking a new approach in this coming year. as you can see, the first big change is my site. i have streamlined both the website and blog, to create a unique blogsite which i am just over the moon excited about! you will now be able to keep up with my recent sessions, as well as be the first to know about specials and new products. why not start with browsing through my past sessions by searching through the various categories… please, make yourself at home and enjoy your stay! do let me know you have been by, i love comments, and look forward to getting to know you!

onto some other changes. i am revamping my policies and pricing - please be sure to take a gander at the fine print, as well as the other links found above. there is plenty of information to keep you busy for a bit as always, please do be sure that my unique, and photo journalistic style of photography is what you are looking for. the images i create are my art. i work extensively on each and every image, to give it just what i envisioned, just what i saw when spending time with your family. this takes a lot of time, but it is what i love! i am so blessed to be doing what i am passionate about. thank you for appreciating all that i put into my work.

i am being very selective with how many sessions i take on per month. my priority is wanting to give my clients the utmost in attention and detail. i am currently booking about 4-6 weeks out, so please contact me if you are interested in a session. i do, however, leave enough room for newborns and births (yes births, a new venture i would love to take on this year!). so if you are expecting, i can more than likely fit you in.

a slight change to my referral program… my clients seem to love their referral cards and i am pleased to offer it! as a refresher (and due to some changes in how i am offering images now) here is the new rule of thumb:

upon completion of your order each client receives a set of beautiful, custom designed referral cards. included on the card will be my contact information as well as a favorite photo of mine from your session. i would love for you to pass these along, and as a thank you, you will receive a $50 credit towards digital images or fine art prints, for each person who completes a session - (of course the client referred to me gets the same $50 credit as well). a note to those who have ‘08 referral cards, please let your friends and family know that they may use their $50 credit on digital images or fine art prints.

okay, now the fun stuff! i am introducing some really fabulous products this year, goodies i know you’ll want to get your hands on. i have poured endlessly over various options, researched, asked around, gone back and forth until my eyes were dry and my husband was looking at me weird. i have finally decided on a line of products that are sure to make your mouth water. soon to come, my own product photos for the boutique page. these goodies are stunning to say the least. i have heard nothing by great things about them and am thrilled to offer a select few of their products. i know i am anxious to get my paws on them, and i am certain you will be too!

what are these yummy products you ask? well let me tell ya!

this decadent box is handmade (yes handmade) and wrapped in a silk cover that has been custom designed for you. it is totally unique and something you will certainly want to show off. this box will hold (and includes!) all the images from your gallery, sized to 5×7, un-watermarked and with a slim white border. what better way to get each image, and to display them, than with this yummy box? due to the custom nature of this product, delivery time ranges from 5-7 weeks. (well worth the wait my friends!)

these fabulous books are sized from 5×5 to 10×10 (and many in between), and made of the highest quality materials. there are endless cover options, from fine silk brocade to faux suedes and leathers. the pages are thick and sturdy. this beauty is handmade (yes by a person!) therefore delivery time ranges from 5-7 weeks.

my dear, sweet, friend helen and her gorgeous family are about to set sail across the globe. i was honored when she asked me to come and hang out with them for one last family session in the states. these guys are so real, genuine, awesome, and adorable - i had so, so much fun l family, enjoy!

i spent a long morning at one of my favorite local spots, with the g family. they were so willing to be creative and have fun - my kind of family! : ) thanks guys for a great time, and for the record - i LOVE that you brought your own giant “G”!

this family, oh how i love them. this is the 2nd official time i have photographed little mister j - but i have certainly loved him since finding out he had finally made his arrival 17 months ago. so hard to choose which to post… but alas i decided. and for the record, YES these screamed b&w ; ) thanks so much you guys, see you soon!

this gorgeous girl is my sister. i hate being 3,000 miles away from her - and our last visit was far too short. we barely had enough time to get some photos in, but i’m sure glad we did. look how amazing her eyes are! i know i’m biased but really, she is beautiful inside AND out. love you a!

oh how i love the holidays! of course, with the beautiful sights and sounds of the season comes the usual craziness. i have had a lot of fun doing holiday sessions, and my most recent one is no exception. this is the second time i had the privilege of photographing the adorable k girls - however this time mom and dad got in on the mix! it was cold and foggy, but they were troopers and i’m thrilled with the outcome. enjoy k family!
